To obtain a class 6R licence
- Register for SUR 2 ROUES motorcycle school theory course.
Duration: 9 hours (three 3-hour classes, available evenings
and/or weekends)

Make an appointment with the SAAQ for a knowledge test

To obtain a learner’s class 6R licence
Have identification and the following documents at the time of appointment confirmation :

- SUR 2 ROUES motorcycle training school contract
- Health insurance or social insurance card
- Automobile driver's licence or certificate of civil status
N.B.
Fee of 10.10$ for the knowledge test.
Fee of 60.10$ for a learner's licence.
BEFORE taking the SAAQ test on a closed track
- Register for SUR 2 ROUES motorcycle training school practical
classes, closed track instruction. This 18-hour course is available in
the daytime, evenings and/or weekends. Once you have completed
this 18-hour course of instruction, you will be evaluated by
qualified monitors. If you pass, you may then register for the
4 hour road course.
- Once you have completed this 18-hour course, you may pick up
your Quebec Safety League certificate at the SUR 2 ROUES driving
school.
- Make an appointment at the SAAQ for your test on a closed track.
If you wish to rent a motorcycle for this test, the school will make
the appointment for you and confirm the date. If you have a
motorcycle available, you will need to make the
appointment yourself.
To OBTAIN a class 6A (temporary) motorcycle licence
Have identification and the following documents at the time of your appointment at the SAAQ :

- The Quebec Safety League certificate, duly filled out by
the driving school.
- Your class 6R learner's licence and the SAAQ identification card
or your automobile driver's licence.
- Your health insurance or social insurance card.
N.B.
Fee of 25.25$ for a test on a closed track.
Fee of 60$ for motorcycle rental.
Fee of 6.10$ for adding class 6A on the learner's licence.
Seven months later,Fee of 91.25$ for a road test.
Fee of 120$ for motorcycle rental for road test.
Fee of 13.90$ for adding class and photo on your licence.
